October 12, 2015, 10:02p.m. – DR. CHARLEMAGNE G. Aguinaldo, a veteran of the “Pautakan” annual intercollegiate quiz competition organized by the Varsitarian, passed away last Oct. 8. He was 36.

Aguinaldo, who finished Medicine in UST in 2004, suffered from complications of renal failure and was confined at UST Hospital. He is survived by his mother Josefina, brothers Michael and Albert, sisters Marie and Beverly, in-laws, and nephews and nieces.

A native of Hagonoy, Bulacan, Aguinaldo was captain of the Pautakan team of the Faculty of Pharmacy and later, that of the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery. He finished Medical Technology cum laude in 2000 and placed eighth in the board examinations.

Aguinaldo was salutatorian of UST High School Batch 1996, among other academic distinctions from the University.

His remains lie at Funeraria Malaya on Arnaiz Avenue in Pasay.

  1. My condolences to the family of Agui. I’m still in shock with this news. He was part of the Pautakan team when I had my stint wayback Medtech/Pharmacy and Medicine days.Gone too soon.May your soul rest in peace.
