POVERTY, education and environment were given the spotlight in a fundraising photo exhibit last Nov. 29 and Dec. 1 at the College of Education Playground.
The exhibit, titled “Project E.S.P.I.A: Enlightening Student Participation in the Age of Anthropocene,” was mounted to support public high schools in Pamarawan, Bulacan.
“We decided to highlight three issues [in our] exhibit and seminar which is poverty, education and environment because these are also the issues needed to be addressed in Pamarawan,” Education student Eden Hernandez told the Varsitarian.
Varsitarian Acting Chief Photographer Deejae Dumlao exhibited five of his works, including “Ring Around the Rody,” a photograph of protesters encircling the burning effigy of President Rodrigo Duterte.
“Project E.S.P.I.A” was a two-day event that was part of the College of Education Week.
