UST continues to be the country’s top university in quality assurance, having the most number of programs accredited by the Philippine Association of Colleges and Universities Commission on Accreditation (Pacucoa).
The University took home seven awards during the 28th Pacucoa general assembly and awarding ceremonies at Conrad Hotel in Pasay City last Dec. 1.
UST was cited for having the most number of Level IV accredited programs in the country and for being the institution with the highest number of accredited programs in the National Capital Region.
The tourism program of UST was the first to be granted the Level IV accredited status in the country.
The University was also recognized for producing graduates who have obtained the highest scores in the 2017 nutritionist-dietitian, pharmacist and librarian board examinations.
UST has a total of 47 Pacucoa-accredited programs.
Twenty-six programs have Level IV status, the highest accreditation that can be obtained by an educational institution from Pacucoa.
UST has been cited for having the most number of Pacucoa-accredited programs in the country since 2013.
