A THOMASIAN clinched the 10th spot in the December 2018 licensure exam for microbiologists.
Nica Victorina Domingo led the new batch of registered Thomasian microbiologists. Aside from Domingo, five other Thomasians passed the exam.
Emerson Bryan Dilla of the University of the Philippines in Los Baños, Laguna topped this year’s microbiologist certification exam.
This was the third consecutive year that the University secured a place on the list of topnotchers, after Rance Derrick Pavon ranked second in the December 2017 exam and Mark Carascal topped the exams in December 2016.
The 2018 licensure exam was held on Dec. 1 and 2.
The number of passers increased to 70 from the previous year’s 34.
