HAZEL Lustan’s heroics finally put the UST Lady Booters in the winning column as they demolished OutKast FC, 4-1, in the PFF Womens’ League at the Rizal Memorial Stadium Sunday.
With the game tied at 1-all going into the second half, Lustan drilled in back-to-back goals in the 74th and 81st minutes to give UST a two-goal cushion.
Charisa Lemoran added an insurance goal in the 87th minute to secure the Lady Booters’ win.
Outkast FC’s Victoria Maniquis drew first blood in the eighth minute before UST’s Tin Cleofe scored an equalizer in the 24th mark.
“Malaking bagay na nakapag-training kami, morning and afternoon, so nakikita ko unti-unting bumabalik ang magandang kundisyon ng mga bata,” UST head coach Prescilla “Aging” Rubio said.
The Lady Booters will see action on Saturday, June 25, at the same venue
