THE UST Golden Booters settled for a scoreless draw against the National University Bulldogs in the 15th Ang Liga tournament at the Gatorade Chelsea Blue Pitch in Makati Saturday.
Golden Booter Steven Anotado tried to put UST on board in the 62nd minute but was foiled by NU keeper Hayeson Pepito.
UST’s Jayson Rafol also tried to score in the 67th minute, but Pepito was there again to save the ball.
“We had a lot of chances again, we dominated late in the game pero hindi kami naka-pull ng isang goal. So far more training sessions in finishing,” UST head coach Marjo Allado told the Varsitarian.
UST will next play on September 9, Saturday, at the San Beda football pitch. with reports from Maria Charisse Ann G. Refuerzo
