THE F2 Logistics Cargo Movers breezed past Victoria Sports-UST Golden Tigresses, 25-22, 25-19, 25-19, in the Philippine Super Liga Grand Prix at the De La Salle-Lipa Sentrum in Batangas Saturday.

The Cargo Movers remained undefeated in five games while the Tigresses sank to a 0-4 record.

Leading 21-19 in the third set, F2’s Cha Cruz scored a service ace to ice a four-point spurt for the win.

“Wala talaga kaming pang-tapos although may mga nakikita kaming willing mag-step up. Maganda naman ‘yung naging laban kasi kinabahan din ‘yung kalaban,” UST head coach Paul Jan Doloiras said.

A service error from UST import Yukie Inamasu in the second set gave F2 a commanding 2-0 set lead, 25-19.

F2 had a slim 23-22 lead in the opening canto before back-to-back points from import Kennedy Bryan and Kim Fajardo gave the Cargo Movers an early advantage.

Bryan led all scorers with 13 points while Maria Perez dropped 12 markers.

Tin Francisco had 10 points for UST.

The Tigresses will try to bounce back against the Generika-Ayala Lifesavers on Nov. 21, Tuesday, 4:15 p.m., at the Arena in San Juan.
