A FORMER high school MVP on Sunday said he would no longer play for the UST Tiger Spikers.

Jomaru Amagan said he would move to another school, but did not say what prompted him to leave UST.

“Basta super down lang ako at hindi na ako masaya,” he told the Varsitarian in an online interview.

Besides winning the MVP award in his first and only stint in the NCAA with the Lyceum Junior Pirates, Amagan was named Best Scorer, Best Server, and Rookie of the Year.

Amagan helped UST finish fourth in the recent Spikers’ Turf tournament last September.

UST suffered its worst UAAP season in the Final Four era with a 4-10 card.
