AN ERROR-plagued UST Tiger Spikers suffered a beating, 19-25, 23-25, 22-25, from the Far Eastern University at the Mall of Asia Arena Saturday.

UST (3-4) committed 29 errors, including 10 in the third set alone. It was swept for the second consecutive game and has now lost three of its last four games.

The Tiger Spikers narrowed a nine-point FEU lead to three in the third set, 20-23, but a service error from John Millado put the Tamaraws on match point.

Gregorio Dolor iced the game with an off-the-block hit.

UST tied the second set at 22-all after firing three straight points but committed three consecutive errors which paved way for the Tamaraws to take a commanding 2-0 set lead.

Tiger Spikers head coach Odjie Mamon refused to comment after the game.

Manuel Medina led UST with eight points while Jude Garcia topscored for FEU with 11.

The Tamaraws dominated the blocking department after tallying 10 rejections against UST’s four.
