THE UNIVERSITY produced 3 new occupational therapists in the June 2026 licensure exams, where two UST alumni landed in the top 7.
Jose Burgos led the newly minted Thomasian occupational therapists, placing fourth nationwide with a rating of 81.50%.
Josh Aceron followed suit, ranking sixth with a score of 80.50%.
UST kept its 100% passing rate (3 of 3 examinees) from the December 2025 examination cycle.
Edsh Rosales from Cebu Doctors University emerged as the top scorer in this cycle with a rating of 84.50%.
The national passing rate slid to 34.92% (66 out of 189), from 73.77% (374 of 507) in the previous examination cycle.
No school qualified as a top-performing school.
The board examinations for occupational therapists were administered on June 4.
