A DRONE show and concert are set to keep Thomasians entertained as they dine in this year’s Agape, the Thomasian Christmas feast, said the Facilities Management Office.
Fr. Dexter Austria, O.P., director of the Facilities Management Office, told the Varsitarian the drone show on the evening of Wednesday, Dec. 17 would be accompanied by University chants, to be led by the UST Yellow Jackets.
“We’ll have the drone fly midway through the Agape program. It will only take a few minutes,” Austria said.
The Agape will begin at 6:30 p.m. and will be followed by the Agape Concert at 7 p.m.
The Paskuhan Mass, which will commence at 5 p.m., will precede the Agape festivities,
Food stub distribution commenced on Dec. 2 and ended Dec. 12.
Thomasians must scan their IDs or QR codes from the MyUSTe portal to claim their stub.
Agape has been a staple of the Thomasian Paskuhan celebration since 2011, when the University celebrated its Quadricentennial.
This year’s Paskuhan festivities carry the theme “Light Among Us, Hope Through Us,” taken from Luke 2:10 and inspired by Christ as the guiding light in times of darkness.
Agape will be the penultimate activity in UST’s Paskuhan calendar, setting the stage for the Grand Paskuhan Concert on Dec. 19.
