April 1, 2016, 3:13a.m. – TWO MORE programs have been added to the limited offerings for Academic Year 2016-2017, when enrollment is expected to be cut drastically because of the transition to the K to 12 basic education program.

The College of Tourism and Hospitality Management (CTHM) is now offering the BS Hotel and Restaurant Management (HRM) and BS Tourism programs for freshman applicants. Both programs are designated centers of excellence by the Commission on Higher Education.

With the inclusion of the two CTHM programs, a total of 22 programs will be offered next academic year out of the existing 53 programs in UST.

HRM and tourism will join accountancy, architecture, biology, biochemistry, business administration major in financial management, business administration major in marketing management, communication arts, computer science, economics, information technology, journalism, legal management, medical technology, music, music major in music education, nursing, pharmacy, physical education major in sports and wellness, psychology, and political science in next academic year’s list of offered programs.
