THE UNIVERSITY emerged as the third top-performing school in the October 2019 psychometrician licensure examinations, with 14 Thomasians in the top 10.
Darlene Angela Ilagan led the newest batch of Thomasian psychometricians, clinching the third spot with a score of 86 percent.
Michelle Angela Arellano, Catherine Manansala and Jean Clarence Perias shared the fifth spot after recording identical 85.60-percent scores.
Cyrille Ann Patrice Chua landed seventh with a score of 85.20 percent, while Lejandro Raevino Toledo secured the eighth place with a score of 85 percent.
Alexandra Michaela Carmen, Mark Allen de Lara, Katrinka Gayle Galindez, Samantha Isabelle Soliven, Micah Victoria Tan and Julianne Khryztelle Torres were tied at ninth place, each scoring 84.80 percent.
Cristina Callangan and Angel Hilario finished 10th with identical 84.60-percent marks.
UST’s passing rate rose to 96.74 percent or 178 out of 184 examinees, from last year’s 88.02 percent or 169 out of 192 examinees.
Ateneo de Manila University was the top-performing school after posting a perfect passing rate, with all 57 takers passing the exam.
The national passing rate improved to 63.73 percent or 6,800 out of 10,670 examinees, from last year’s 47.73 percent or 4,035 out of 8,453 examinees.
In the separate examinations for psychologists, Elaine Fatima Simon notched the fourth place with an 84.60-percent score.
De La Salle University was the sole top-performing school with a passing rate of 95.24 percent or 20 out of 21 examinees.
The national passing rate for psychologists rose to 72.18 percent or 205 out of 284 examinees, from last year’s 67.02 percent, or 127 out of 189 examinees.
