THE UNIVERSITY emerged as the top-performing school in the November 2024 licensure examinations for pharmacists.
Data from the Professional Regulation Commission showed that 253 of UST’s 255 examinees made the cut, good for a 99.22% passing rate.
UST led schools that fielded 100 or more examinees, being one of only two institutions that breached the mark of 250 successful examinees.
The latest passing rate improved from 87.10% in the April 2024 cycle.
Two UST alumni broke into the top 10: Reggy Seña at fourth place with a 94.65% score and Daphne Nava at seventh place with a 94.42% score.
Jay Almojuela of UST Legazpi led the fresh crop of pharmacists with a score of 95.47%.
The University of the Philippines Manila and Adamson University shared the No.1 spot for schools that had 50 to 99 examinees, logging a perfect passing rate with 58 and 53 passers, respectively.
The national passing rate jumped to 76.89% (2,905 of 3,778) from 55.19% (1,185 of 2,147) in the previous cycle.
