THE UNIVERSITY landed on the No. 2 spot among top-performing schools in the November 2024 licensure examinations for nutritionist-dietitians, after posting a 98.44% passing rate. 

UST produced the highest number of successful examinees in the cycle with 126 out of 128 Thomasians making the cut. 

The latest passing rate almost matched the 98.56% rating recorded by UST in November 2023, when it also emerged as the second best-performing school. 

Faye Nuñez led the fresh crop of Thomasian nutritionist-dietitians, placing third nationwide with a 91.45% score. 

Joining her in the top 10 is UST alumna Nina Cortez at sixth place with a 91.10% score. 

Frances Agustin of the University of the Philippines (UP) Diliman placed first in the exam cycle with a score of 92.40%. 

UP Los Baños, Central Mindanao University, and UP Diliman figured in a three-way tie for the No. 1 spot among all schools, all recording perfect passing rates. The schools fielded 98, 49, and 36 successful examinees, respectively. 

The national passing rate slid to 69.73% (843 of 1,209) from 73.42% (895 of 1,219) in November 2023. 

The November 2024 licensure examinations for nutritionist-dietitians were conducted on Nov. 6 and 7.
