UST dominated the November 2024 licensure examinations for speech language pathologists, where it emerged as the top-performing school.

Eleven passers — including the topnotcher — landed in the top 10. 

All 55 Thomasian examinees passed the exams, with UST alumna Tricia Pascual leading the new batch of speech language pathologists with a 90.25% score. 

Joining her in the top 10 are Thomasians Azrielle Alguso (No. 3; 88.75%), Julianne Pascua (No. 4; 88.50%), Elaisa Depuno and Samantha Eala (No. 6; 87.50%). 

UST alumni Ariadne Fabian and Maxinne David (No. 8; 87.00%), Pamela Castro (No.9; 86.75%), Gabrielle Santos, Natalie Arugay, and Paulina Gulapa (No. 10; 86.50%) likewise made it to the top 10. 

University of the Philippines Manila (36 of 36) and Cebu Doctors University (18 of 18) joined UST as the top-performing schools in the latest cycle.

The national passing rate dipped to 95.03% (153 of 161) from 99.63% (543 of 545) in November 2023. 

The November 2024 speech language pathologist licensure exams were conducted on Nov. 23 and 24.
