UST CIVIL Law Dean Nilo Divina received the Silver Award for Thought Leader of the Year at the 2024 Stevie Awards, which recognizes the achievements of professionals and organizations globally. 

Divina was recognized under the International Business Awards program and also took home gold in Web Writing or Content for “A Dose of Law,” his bi-weekly column at the Daily Tribune.

“[These recognitions] are deeply humbling and serve as a reminder of the immense responsibility I carry as a leader in the profession,” Divina told the Varsitarian.

“They inspire me to continue working hard and striving to live the values Thomasian lawyers are known for,” he added.

Divina’s law firm, DivinaLaw, also won as the Medium-sized Legal Company of the Year. 

DivinaLaw earned silver in the Corporate Social Responsibility Program of the Year among countries in Asia, Australia, and New Zealand. The firm was recognized for its “Dulog” initiative, a free legal clinic serving marginalized communities. 

The yearly Stevie Awards recognize outstanding businesses worldwide. 

Ayala Land Inc. led the 2024 edition with 25 awards, the most of any participating entity.
