THE OFFICE of Alumni Relations (OAR) has recorded an influx in the number of UST graduates applying for the alumni card, which is required for entry to the grand Paskuhan concert on Dec. 20.

OAR Director Joreen Rocamora said 7,845 applications were received this year, with all available slots for December already filled. Of the total, 5,302 cards have been released as of Dec. 1.

“Paskuhan is one of the most awaited University events by alumni every year. The Thomasian alumni card is one of the entry requirements for alumni during the Paskuhan,” Rocamora told the Varsitarian

For the third consecutive year, the grand Paskuhan concert on Dec. 20 will remain exclusive to UST students, employees, and alumni due to security reasons, according to UST Secretary General Fr. Louie Coronel, O.P.

UST gates will close at 8 p.m. for alumni. They may enter Gate 11 on Dapitan Street.

To ensure that only authorized attendees enter the campus, security personnel will conduct bag inspections and require students and alumni to scan their IDs upon entry.

UST alumni who opt to claim their alumni card and yearbook in person at the Buenaventura Garcia Paredes, O.P. (BGPOP) Building have until Dec. 18 to do so.

Rocamora noted that the alumni card not only grants access to Paskuhan events but also provides discounts and privileges at over 76 partner-companies.

Application process

UST graduates may apply for the card through the alumni portal (https://alumnirelations.ust.edu.ph/) and have it delivered or claimed at the OAR office at the BGPOP Building.

For self-pick-ups, alumni must present a valid ID and the claiming stub sent via email.

The UST alumni card is available for a lifetime membership fee of P1,500 or an annual fee of P500.

The OAR has over 83,000 registered alumni.
