THE UNIVERSITY was the lone top-performing school in the January 2025 licensure examinations for architects, where 74 Thomasian examinees, including four topnotchers, made the cut.
UST produced the highest number of passers in the latest exam cycle, which came from a pool of 84 examinees.
It logged an 88.10% passing rate, almost matching the 88.82% (143 of 161) rating it recorded in June 2024.
UST alumna Kimberlane Go led the fresh crop of Thomasian architects after ranking second nationwide with an 82.70% score.
Joining her in the top 10 are Thomasians Eileene Gatus and Anna Martinez (No. 7; 81.80%) and Kate Mayormita (No. 8; 81.60%).
Ckristel Daguio and Marissa Ragaza of the University of the Philippines Diliman shared the No. 1 spot after each scored 82.80%.
The national passing rate slid to 58.71% (1,052 of 1,792) from 62.14% (2,094 of 3,370) in June 2024.
The January 2025 licensure exams for architects were held on Jan. 21 and 23.
