THE UNIVERSITY emerged as the third best school in the February 2025 licensure examinations for master plumbers, in which 25 out of 30 Thomasians passed. 

UST logged an 83.33% passing rate, a slight improvement from the 81.82% (63 of 77) it recorded in July 2024. 

Rowill Rempillo of the University of the Philippines Diliman led the new batch of master plumbers after scoring 87.10%.

Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila was named the top-performing school after 11 out of its 12 examinees passed, good for a 91.67% passing rate. 

The national passing rate slid to 44.17% (1,475 of 3,339) from 47.43% (2,936 of 6,190) in the previous cycle.

The February 2025 licensure exams for master plumbers were conducted on Feb. 20 and 21.
