THE UNIVERSITY produced 53 new civil engineers in the April 2025 licensure examinations for civil engineers, in which UST recorded a 52.48% passing rate.

The number of Thomasian passers came from a pool of 101 examinees.

UST’s rating dipped significantly from the 75.17% passing rate it recorded in the November and December 2024 cycle, where 109 of 145 examinees made the cut.

Carlos Mariano of Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila clinched the No.1 spot in the latest cycle with a score of 93%.

The University of the Philippines Diliman was named the top-performing school after 55 out of its 56 examinees passed, good for a 98.21% passing rate.

The national passing rate dropped to 29.21% (4,940 of 16,913) from 37.09% (6,835 of 18,429) in the previous cycle.
