THE UST College of Science has redesigned its Type A uniforms to be worn by freshmen starting Academic Year (AY) 2025-2026.
The new white polo for males and blouse for females will have blue piping on the sleeves and collar, similar to the shade on the college logo.
The new uniforms retained the pockets on both sides and the college logo on the left breast.
The female blouse will now be paired with black pants instead of a white skirt.
Students in higher year levels will still use their previous Type A uniforms.
The blouse for females costs between P600 to P1,500 depending on size, while the price of the black pants ranges from P800 to P1,700. The polo for males is sold at P600 to P1,500, and the black pants at P800 to P1,700.
The cost of a full set ranges from P1,400 to P3,200.
The new Type A uniforms are available for purchase from Monday to Friday at Room 311 of the Main Building, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
In AY 2024-2025, the College of Science rolled out new Type B uniforms and a standard laboratory gown design to curb violations of uniform policy, according to its dean, Prof. Rey Donne Papa.
Science will mark its centennial in 2026. Ella Mae A. Sison
