ALUMNI must present their physical cards to get into the 2025 Paskuhan concert as the QR code pass system has been suspended, the alumni office said.

In a Facebook post, the Office of Alumni Relations (OAR) laid out the guidelines for alumni attending the grand Paskuhan concert.

Before the event, alumni must pre-register using their alumni profile account, through alumnirelations.ust.edu.ph

OAR said faded or damaged alumni cards would not be accepted by gate security.

Alumni attendees must enter through Gate 11 at Dapitan Street, requiring them to follow event security protocols.

The office also reminded alumni attendees to follow the dress code and avoid bringing prohibited items.

The concert will be exclusive to Thomasians and gates will be closed once the capacity limit is reached, officials said.

Distribution of alumni cards

The OAR released 5,894 alumni cards from Jan. 1 to Dec. 16.

Asst. Prof. Joreen Rocamora, OAR director, said the influx of alumni card applications could be attributed to Paskuhan and special discounts and privileges offered by the card.

The bulk of recent applicants are 2025 graduates, who began submitting requests in October, she said.

“We are seeing a surge in alumni engagements which has led to a high volume of alumni card applications,” Rocamora said.

Rocamora said alumni undergo “strong verification measures” to avoid the risk of duplicated or fraudulent alumni cards.

The alumni card application is open until slots are available; however, December slots have been filled, Rocamora said. Ella Mae A. Sison
