UST Tiger Trackster Hokett Delos Santos cleared 5.10 meters at the Busan International Pole Vault Meeting on Saturday, May 30, at Gwangalli Beach in Busan, South Korea.
Delos Santos placed 10th in the competition, which was won by Japan’s Masaki Ejima after clearing 5.60 meters.
The event marked Delos Santos’ first competition since winning the decathlon gold medal at the 2025 Southeast Asian (SEA) Games in December.
Delos Santos competed through a groin injury at the SEA Games before spending the first four months of the year recovering.
His personal-best mark remains 5.15 meters, a height he has not surpassed in more than a year.
He attempted to break that record in the same meet but chose to forgo his final two attempts after missing on his first try.
Delos Santos is set to return to action at the ICTSI Philippine Athletics Championships from June 10 to 14 in New Clark City, Tarlac.
