Thomasian pole vaulter EJ Obiena secured another podium finish after taking silver at the 4th Domspringen Wesel in Germany on Wednesday, Sept. 2 (Philippine time), marking his sixth competition in 14 days.
Obiena cleared 5.75 meters on his second attempt to finish behind France’s Robin Emig, who claimed the title with a 5.80-meter clearance.

Since Aug. 17, the two-time Olympian has competed in six meets, collecting gold medals at the Golden Sand competition in Poland and ISTAF Berlin in Germany.
