UST is set to stage Tiger Run, an on-campus fun run for students and non-Thomasians, on Sunday, April 26.  

The event will feature 3K and 5K races, with top finishers receiving cash prizes of up to P25,000.  

It is organized by the Batang Atleta Association, a Palawan-based civic group for young Filipino athletes, in partnership with the Institute of Physical Education and Athletics (IPEA).

Registration for the 5K race costs P1,500 for non-Thomasians, while UST students can avail themselves of a discounted fee of P1,300.

For the 3K category, regular participants are charged P1,200, while Thomasians may sign up for P1,000.

The 5K race will begin at 5:30 a.m. at the UST Grandstand, followed by the 3K run at 6:30 a.m.  

Participants will receive race kits that include a singlet, finisher’s medal, eco bag, and a certificate of completion.  

Proceeds from the event will support UST’s athletic programs and Batang Atleta’s initiatives.  

UST athletes, coaches, and alumni are expected to join the run, which will pass by campus landmarks, including the Main Building, Plaza Mayor, Arch of the Centuries, Quadricentennial Pavilion, and the Miguel de Benavides Library.  

The deadline for registration is extended until April 17.
