Student council elections set on April 17
March 4, 2015, 12:20 p.m. - THE UST Central Commision on Elections (Comelec) has declared the third Friday of April as the official date of student elections starting this academic year, in a resolution released Tuesday.
Due to changes in the University’s academic calendar, “the commission sees the necessity of adjusting the dates with regard to election-based matters under the [UST Students' Election Code] (USEC) of 2011,” said Comelec Resolution No. 7.
This year’s local and university-wide elections will be on April 17.
