AN ALUMNA of the UST College of Science topped the September 2025 licensure examinations for psychologists, where UST emerged as the second top-performing school.
A total of 29 out of 30 Thomasians passed the board exams, posting a 96.67% passing rate, higher than last year’s 86.36%.
Czarina Balbuena, also an instructor at UST, placed first nationwide after scoring 89.95%.
Ateneo de Manila University took the lead as the top-performing school with a passing rate of 96.97% (32 out of 33 examinees).
The national passing rate for this year’s cycle climbed to 84.84% (469 out of 541) from 83.63% (339 out of 468) last year.
