AN ALUMNUS of the UST Faculty of Medicine and Surgery topped the October 2025 licensure examinations for physicians, where UST placed as the fourth top-performing school.
A total of 321 out of 327 Thomasians passed the board exams, or a 98.17% passing rate, higher than last March and April 2025’s 79.22%.
Kharam Molbog, the valedictorian of the class of 2024, topped this year’s examinations with a score of 91.17%.
Molbog, also an alumnus of the Faculty of Pharmacy, topped the licensure examinations for medical technologists in August 2022 with a score of 91.90%.
Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila was named the top-performing school, recording a passing rate of 99.05%, after 104 out of 105 examinees passed.
The national passing rate for this cycle climbed to 77.50% (4,570 out of 5,897), an increase from 49.70% (1,901 out of 3,825) in March and April.
