THREE Thomasian graduates topped the January 2026 licensure examinations for architects, with UST ranked as the second-top performing school.
UST logged a 97.33% passing rate after 73 out of 75 Thomasian examinees passed the board exams, an improvement from the last cycle’s 94.17% (97 out of 103).
Jannah Castillo and Benjamin Santiago led the crop of newly minted Thomasian architects, sharing the No. 6 spot with a 87.80% rating.
Lira Macula ranked ninth nationwide with an 87.50% score.
John Jetigan of the University of the Philippines Diliman topped the examination with a score of 90.90%.
Bicol University Legazpi emerged as the top-performing school after 72 out of 73 of its examinees passed, good for a 98.63% rating.
The national passing rate rose to 82.09% (1,998 out of 2,434) from the 65.16% (1,352 of 2,075) in the previous cycle.
The January 2026 licensure exams for architects was held on Jan. 20 and 22.
