THE UST Hospital has been recognized by PhilHealth for achieving a “3-in-1” accreditation for healthcare programs.

The “Yaman ng Kalusugan Program (YAKAP) champion” citation was conferred during the “PhilHealth RISE: Promoting Universal Health Care through Linkages, Synergy, and Engagement” recognition ceremony held on Nov. 3 at Luxent Hotel in Quezon City.

UST Hospital was cited for securing accreditation as a PhilHealth “YAKAP Clinic,” PhilHealth Gamot Pharmacy, and Cancer Screening Test Facility as of September 2025, giving patients wider access to affordable healthcare.

“This award affirms USTH’s commitment to Universal Health Care by providing access to quality health services and promoting health equity,” the UST Hospital’s Facebook post read.

As one of the accredited providers of the YAKAP program, UST Hospital offers free preventive medical services, including consultations, cancer screenings, and other essential medical assistance.

Another recipient of the award was the Chinese General Hospital and Medical Center in Manila.
