THE UNIVERSITY emerged as the second top-performing school in the June 2025 licensure examinations for architects, where 97 Thomasian examinees, including four topnotchers, passed.
The number of passers was the highest in the examination cycle and came from a pool of 103 examinees.
UST recorded a 94.17% passing rate, an improvement from the 88.10% (74 of 84) rating it recorded in January 2025.
Napoleon Mui led the fresh crop of Thomasian architects, landing in the No. 2 spot nationwide with an 85.70% score.
Joining him in the top 10 are fellow UST alumni Franchezka Magtira (No. 9; 83.90%) and Francheska Balisi and Marielle Yau (No. 10; 83.70%).
King Mabanta of Pangasinan State University Urdaneta topped the latest exam cycle with a score of 88.10%.
Mapua University emerged as the top-performing school after 62 of its 63 examinees passed, good for a 98.41% rating.
The national passing rate rose to 65.16% (1,352 of 2,075) from 58.71% (1,052 of 1,792) in the previous cycle.
