THE UNIVERSITY emerged as the top-performing school in the June 2026 licensure examinations for architects after all 130 of its examinees passed the examination.
The perfect passing rate marked an improvement from the 97.33% (73 of 75) UST had posted in the January 2026 examination cycle.
Eloisa Plana of the University of the Philippines Mindanao led the crop of newly minted architects with a score of 90.60%.
UST tied with the University of San Carlos (51 of 51) and the Polytechnic University of the Philippines-Sta. Mesa (50 of 50) as the top-performing schools with 50 or more examinees after both institutions also posted a 100% passing rate.
The national passing rate rose to 85.08% (2,799 of 3,290) from 82.09% (1,998 of 2,434) recorded in the previous examination cycle.
The June 2026 licensure examinations for architects were held on June 8 and 10.
The examination in Davao City was rescheduled to June 22 to 24 due to the earthquake that struck the region on June 8.
