THE UNIVERSITY emerged as third top-performing school in the August 2025 electrical engineer licensure examinations, in which 41 out of 46 examinees made the cut.
UST logged an 89.13% passing rate, an improvement from the last cycle’s 85.71%.
Jolly Siago of Cebu Institute of Technology-University led the crop of new electrical engineers with a score of 93.45%.
The University of the Philippines Los Baños emerged as the top-performing school after recording a 100% passing rate.
The national passing rate for the August 2025 cycle dipped to 38.92% (1,240 out of 3,186) from 61.37% (4,137 of 6,741) recorded in the May 2025 examinations.
The University did not field an examinee in the separate licensure examinations for master electricians.
