THE UNIVERSITY emerged as the No. 4 top-performing school in the September 2025 licensure examinations for psychometricians, where 187 Thomasian examinees, including 16 topnotchers, made the cut.
UST logged a 98.42% passing rate (187 out of 190 examinees), which was higher than the 96.80% (212 out of 219) passing rate it recorded in August 2024.
Alumnus Adriann Villamor led the new crop of Thomasian psychometricians after ranking fifth nationwide with 88.60%.Joining him in the top 10 are Thomasians Kamilah Eduardo and Kristine Tannagan (No. 6, 88.40%), Ma. Katrina Jimenez, Evangela Ramos, and Elaine Villanueva (No. 7, 88.20%), Yvonne Cabrera of UST Legazpi (No.8, 88%), Virelle Ordañez, Althea Angeles, Joel Duazo and Czar Teves (No. 9, 87.80%).
Diane Caraig, Ahna Castro, Cameron Patubo, Fiona Genona, and Marjorie Sevilla each posted an 87.60-percent score to rank 10th.
Former Varsitarian circle writer Larissa Tan was also among the passers.
Dandean Bernabe of the University of San Jose-Recoletos clinched the No. 1 spot with a 90% score.
Central Mindanao University was named the top-performing school after 136 out of its 137 examinees passed, good for a 99.27% passing rate.
The national passing rate rose to 86.99% (12,416 of 14,273) from 69.78% (7,478 of 10,717) in the August 2024 cycle.
The latest rating is the highest passing rate in the last decade, according to the Professional Regulation Commission.
The September 2025 licensure exams for psychometricians were held on Sept. 24 to 25.
