THE UNIVERSITY emerged as the fifth top-performing school in the September 2025 librarian licensure examinations, in which UST posted a 85.71% passing rate.

A total of 18 Thomasians made the cut from a pool of 21 examinees. 

UST’s passing rate was an improvement from the 69.57% tallied in the September 2024 cycle.

Patricia Victa of the University of the Philippines Diliman topped the examination with a 91.50% score. 

Three were named top-performing schools after recording a 100% passing rate: Philippine Normal University Manila (28 examinees), La Salle University in Ozamiz City (14 examinees), and University of the Philippines Diliman (13 examinees).

The national passing rate rose to 68.44% (626 out of 919) from 48.77% (376 out of 771) in the previous examination cycle.
