THE UNIVERSITY produced 153 new civil engineers in the November 2025 licensure examinations for civil engineers, posting a 73.21% passing rate.
UST’s performance improved significantly from the April cycle, when 53 out of 101 students made the cut, resulting in a 52.4% passing rate. The University fielded 209 examinees in the latest cycle.
Jonathan Yu of the University of San Carlos topped the board exams with a score of 91.75%.
The University of the Philippines Diliman emerged as the top-performing school after 79 out of its 83 examinees passed, or a 95.18% passing rate.
The national passing rate rose to 30.39% or 4,268 out of 14,043 examinees, from 29.21% (4,940 of 16,913) in the previous cycle.
The November 2025 licensure examinations for civil engineers were conducted on Nov. 22 to 23.
