THE UNIVERSITY produced 31 new pharmacists in the April 2026 licensure examinations, logging a 93.94% passing rate.

The number of Thomasian passers came from a pool of 33 examinees. 

UST’s passing rate is a dip from the 98.99% (197 of 199) it recorded in the November 2025 cycle. 

Royce Fantillan of the University of San Agustin (USA) in Iloilo City placed first nationwide after scoring 94.65%.

USA emerged as the top-performing school posting an 82.43% (122 of 148) passing rate.

The national passing rate dropped to 52.26% (1,085 of 1,895) from 80.57% (3,670 of 4,555) in the previous cycle.

The April 2026 licensure examinations for pharmacists were conducted on April 18 and 19.
