THE UNIVERSITY produced 45 new mechanical engineers in the August 2026 licensure examinations for mechanical engineers.
The number came from a pool of 65 Thomasian examinees.
UST’s passing rate decreased to 69.23% (45 of 65) from the 73.58% (78 of 106) recorded in the February licensure exams.
Junry Vistal of the University of Cebu topped the boards, posting a 92.2% score.
De La Salle University Manila emerged as the top-performing school with an 87.5% passing rate.
The national passing rate dropped to 36.95% (1,362 of 3,686) from the 51.86% (3,264 of 6,294) logged in the previous examination cycle.
