THE UNIVERSITY has released the official guidelines and program flow for the UST Grand Paskuhan Concert 2025 at the Manila and General Santos campuses.
UST Manila
The Paskuhan concert, scheduled on Dec. 19, is a “carless day,” the Office of the Secretary General said a memorandum dated Dec. 13.
The concert will run from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m., with Act 1 scheduled from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m, and Act 2 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., ending with the grand fireworks display.
Pre-concert activities include “Thomasian Beats,” a pre-concert disk jockey (DJ) set facilitated by TOMCAT-UST, and a musical performance, dubbed “Songs of Light and Hope,” by the Junior High School Glee Club, at the grand staircase of the UST Main Building at 1:30 p.m.
Winners of the Paskuhan raffle will be drawn at 10 a.m., 12 p.m., 1 p.m., and 3 p.m. at the lobby of the Buenaventura Garcia Paredes O.P. Building.
Campus access will be regulated, with specific gates assigned for students, staff, alumni, parishioners, hospital visitors, artists, suppliers, and medical personnel.
Students and University staff may enter the campus through Gates 1, 3, 9, and 14, passing through designated inspection tents, as well as through the link bridge. Exit points for this group are Gates 2, 7, 10, and 14.
The University said participants are required to comply with prescribed security inspection procedures and health and safety reminders.
Attendees are encouraged to wear retro-inspired attires “reflecting the bold, vibrant, and visionary styles of the 1960s and 1970s.”
UST General Santos
UST General Santos will hold its Paskuhan activities on Dec. 18, beginning with the “Panunuluyan” at 8:30 a.m., followed by the Paskuhan Mass at 10 a.m. to be presided by Fr. Quirico Peregosa Jr., O.P.
The campus concert will start at 6 p.m., featuring student performances, dance productions, and a band performance.
The concert at the General Santos campus will conclude with the singing of the UST Hymn, followed by a DJ performance and foam party from 9 p.m. to 11 p.m.
