THE UNIVERSITY will hold its three-day retreat, “ALAB 2026: Pananampalataya, Pag-asa, Pag-ibig,” on March 4 to 6 at the Quadricentennial Pavilion.
Administrators, academic staff and support staff are expected to participate onsite; while students are required to attend virtually, except for designated onsite representatives.
“As part of our Lenten observance and ongoing Thomasian formation, participation in this retreat forms an integral component of the University’s spiritual life,” UST Secretary General Fr. Louie Coronel, O.P. announced in a memorandum dated Feb. 28.
Onsite participants must bring their retreat identification cards and retreat kits.
Entrance will start at 7 a.m., with seating on a first-come, first-served basis except for the reserved seats on the stage.
Participants must fill the seats in the arena before proceeding to the second and third levels.
Food stubs will be distributed upon registration. Personal tumblers may be used at the designated water stations around the venue.
Lunch venues will be indicated on food stubs, while morning and afternoon snacks will be distributed at designated stairways.
Attendees are encouraged to receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation prior to the retreat as part of spiritual preparation and Lenten observance.
For students, the link to the retreat livestream is accessible at the UST Cloud Campus via Global Announcements.
The UST Educational Technology Center will monitor student attendance and duration of access and submit reports to academic units after the retreat.
“[M]ay our three-day retreat be a sacred opportunity to come before the Lord and let His ALAB consume our fears, renew our spirits, and send us forth as bearers of His unending grace,” Vice Rector for Religious Affairs Fr. Pablo Tiong, O.P. said in a memorandum.
