CLASSES for Academic Year (AY) 2025-2026 are set to start on Aug. 7, according to the collegiate calendar released by the Office of the Secretary General on Saturday.
Freshmen onboarding activities will begin on Aug. 1 with the UST Cloud Campus Orientation, followed by the virtual “ROARientation” on Aug. 4.
The Misa y Discurso de Apertura — or the Mass of the Holy Spirit and the inaugural lecture — will take place on Aug. 5, marking the start of the new academic year in UST.
The in-person ROARientation and welcome concert will be held on Aug. 6.
After classes open on Aug. 7, they will be suspended the following day in observance of the feast of St. Dominic de Guzman, founder of the Order of Preachers.
In previous years, UST began classes after Aug. 8.
The Undas break for Thomasians has been cut short from Oct. 30 to Nov. 4, unlike the previous academic year, in which it lasted until Nov. 6.
The grand Paskuhan concert will take place on Dec. 19.
Registration for Term 2 will begin on Jan. 12, 2026 while regular classes will resume on Jan. 16, 2026.
A week-long Easter break will be observed from March 30 until April 5, 2026.
The 2026 Student Awards Day will be on May 22, and the graduating Class of 2026 will attend the Baccalaureate Mass on May 29. Solemn investiture or graduation rites will begin on June 1, 2026.
Registration for the 2026 special term will be from June 6 to 9, with classes beginning June 10, 2026.
AY 2025-2026 will have a total of 208 school days.
