The V,’ the 97-year-old student publication of UST, won in the publications category with its Paskuhan 2024 issue, which highlighted the Thomasian Christmas traditions in the Manila, General Santos, and Santa Rosa campuses.

The Varsitarian’s 16th print issue for Publication Year 2023-2024, which headlined an investigative report on accessibility hurdles faced by students with disabilities, also won in the category.

The student publication reaped an award in the audio/visual category, cited for its Olympic-themed Paskuhan 2024 video production produced by incumbent editor in chief Chalssea Echegoyen.

Former Varsitarian assistant news editor Janica Buan snagged an award in the writing category for her feature story, “The inspiring journey of a visually impaired UST commerce graduate.”
