UST LADY Booter Charisa Lemoran will suit up for the national football team competing in the 29th Southeast Asian Games Monday.
Lemoran was not part of the initial roster of the team last July, but was later included in the training pool after some players went down with injuries.
Lemoran was instrumental in UST’s resurgence in women’s football last season as the Lady Booters returned to the finals.
She was also named one of the Mythical Strikers and accounted for 11 of the 16 goals of UST the entire season.
The Philippines opened their SEA Games campaign with a 2-1 win over Malaysia.
