“It’s really a non-themed exhibit… [but] it serves as a venue for us (alumni) to get together,” said Noli Vicedo, the gallery’s supervisor. “And what’s more, it’s also national arts month.”

Vicedo had his own works exhibited, such as his “Pagbati,” a 36 x 48-inch oil painting depicting the biblical annunciation of Christ by the archangel Gabriel in a ethnic-Filipino setting.

One of the notable pieces in the exhibit was “4 disciplines,” a collaborative work by the faculty members of CFAD with images of the University and the four main disciplines of the college: Interior Design, Advertising Arts, Fine Arts and Architecture.

“The concept is about the dream of a little child to become an artist,” Fr. Ed Alaurin, one of the collaborating artists, explained.

Fine Arts alumnus Al Perez presented his work “Jesus Christ,” a 12 x 18 acrylic painting of a crucifix.

Pablo Javier with his watercolor painting “Dancing Waves,” Danilo Santiago’s oil painting “Language of Dance” and Jun Impas’s “Maskara Festival” oil painting were also part of the exhibit.

The exhibit ran until Feb. 23.
