programs with Level IV accreditation. The Faculty of Medicine and Surgery has the highest accreditation among UST programs.

2 The number
of proposed satellite campuses. Before his second term ends, Fr. Lana hopes to have the UST expansion projects in Sta. Rosa, Laguna and General Santos City off and running.

3 The number of major buildings
erected. In 2001, UST inaugurated the Thomas Aquinas Research Complex. In 2003, the refurbished Beato Angelico Bldg. became the new home of the College of Architecture and the College of Fine Arts and Design. Meanwhile, the Alfredo M. Velayo-College of Accountancy hopes to have a new address by next year.

4 The number of colleges created. In November 2000, the old College of Architecture and Fine Arts was split into the College of Architecture and the College of Fine Arts and Design. The following year, the Institute of Physical Theraphy embraced college status becoming the College of Rehabilitation Sciences. And last November, the Alfredo M. Velayo-College of Accountancy was born.

5 The number of steps followed in the Thomasian Quality Management (TQM) project. TQM, which seeks to have orderly offices and classrooms, calls on students, non-academic employees, teachers, and administrators to sweep, sort, sanitize, systematize, and to have self-discipline.

6 The number of new undergraduate courses. In 1998, UST offered courses in Computer Science and Information Technology, while Sports Science, Applied Physics major in Instrumentation, and AB-BSE major in Social Studies were offered in 2002. Entrepreneurship has also been offered in the University since last year.

7 The number of general championships UST won. Since 1999, the University has lorded it over the opposition in the University Athletics.
