A UST freshman died after shooting himself in the head inside his room in Tondo, Manila last Dec. 1.

According to police reports, 16-year-old Karlos Moses, taking Occupational Therapy in the College of Rehabilitation Sciences (CRS), locked himself up in his room at about 4:30 p.m., after coming home from school. At about 8:00 p.m., his family heard a gunshot.

Police reports revealed that the victim used his father’s .45 caliber pistol, but the cause of the suicide is still undetermined.

The family refused to comment.

CRS Dean Dr. Consuelo Suarez and Juneleen Arenas, the college guidance counselor also refused to comment. With reports from Tempo
