THE FACULTY of Medicine and Surgery (Medicine) and the University of Santo Tomas Hospital (USTH) celebrated Medicine Week with the theme “Nagkakaisang Manggagamot at Mamamayan sa Bansa” through a series of charitable activities from Sept. 20 to 26.

The various medical departments offered free dermatology consultations, blood tests, heart check-up, prostate and breast cancer screening, and other health-related services to the public.

The student organizations, meanwhile, hosted a quiz show, concerts, sports events, plays, and even a mooncake festival celebration.

The faculty members also organized exhibits and conducted seminars on alternative and holistic medicine. R. D. Tan
