October 21, 2011, 11:00 p.m.: CLASSES will start on November 8, Malacañang has announced.

November 7, Monday, was declared a regular holiday by President Benigno Aquino III, under Proclamation No. 276 in observance of Eidul Adha (Feast of Sacrifice).

The date of Eidul Adha, one of the greatest feasts of Islam, based on the declaration made by Saudi Arabia’s highest religious body is on November 6.

However, the National Commission on Muslim Filipinos recommended that it be observed on November 7 in the country.
