FACULTY of Pharmacy Asst. Dean Ma. Frieda Hapan has been named an outstanding professional of 2022 by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC).
Hapan received the 2022 Outstanding Professional Award, the highest award given by the PRC, for her contributions to medical technology.
“Awards entail a greater responsibility of commitment and dedication to one’s profession. Therefore, this award will definitely serve as a tremendous encouragement, motivation, and inspiration for me to do more, to share and serve more and to be better or best in all the things that I do, personally and professionally,” she said in a statement.
Hapan is a faculty member of the pharmacy and medical technology cluster at the UST Graduate School.
In 2017, she was named chairperson of the technical committee for medical technology and medical laboratory science of the Commission on Higher Education (CHED).
